• By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the ChessGyan mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
• If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of any updated Terms.
• These Terms apply to all users of the Service, regardless of whether you have a registered account.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• You may not create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, league standings, or any other system within the Service.
• You are responsible for all content and activity generated through your account.

• ChessGyan grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial chess learning purposes.
• You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) use automated systems to access the Service without authorization; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers; (e) transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
• You may not use the Service to cheat in external chess competitions or to gain unfair advantages in rated games.

• The Service, including its content, features, functionality, design, curriculum, AI models, and software, is owned by ChessGyan and is protected by intellectual property laws.
• Your games, analysis, and generated content remain yours. However, by using the Service, you grant ChessGyan a license to use your game data to provide and improve the Service, including training and refining our AI models.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.
• Chess puzzles, lessons, and educational content provided through the Service are for your personal learning use and may not be redistributed or commercially exploited.

• You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities: cheating, hacking, exploiting bugs or glitches, using bots or automated tools, harassment or abuse of other users, transmitting spam or malicious content, impersonating another person or entity, or violating any applicable law or regulation.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited conduct, with or without notice.
• We may modify or remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, at our sole discretion.

• ChessGyan is currently free to use. We may introduce premium features or subscription plans in the future.
• If we introduce paid features, they will be clearly disclosed before any purchase. All payments will be processed through secure payment gateways.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You can cancel a subscription at any time, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing or feature availability with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI analysis and recommendations will always be accurate.
• ChessGyan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data for a reasonable period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
• Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination.

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations first.
• If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in India, and you waive any right to participate in a class action.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
